The truth is that everybody wants to get rich and FAST! I know I do, but in my many attempts, I have found so many failures. I'm the kind of girl that takes life and makes it my servant. When somebody tells me "No" I say "Yes." When someone says "You can't do that," I say "Just watch me." I know I'm not alone. There are hundreds of people out there just like me who are sick of being told what to do and what not to do.
Don't get me wrong, I followed the rules forever! My dad was my mentor growing up and I simply knew that whatever he said had to be true. My dad said that in order to get anywhere in this world, my education would have to come first. So when I finished high school, I did what so many of us do and went right to college. My dad said that if I ever wanted to make any money I needed to get a business degree. So I did. Then my dad said that if I wanted to have an advantage over everyone else, I should get my MBA. So I did. After eighteen years of going to school, getting my bachelors, than my masters, getting all those internships, I'm making $40,000 at best... I'm stuck in corporate America.
That's what I worked so hard for? So I could work for someone else, work FOR money and have the government take half? I know I'm not alone, but at this point I'm not in high school anymore and I don't want to "follow the crowd." The crowd makes an average of $80,000/yr over a lifetime. It's the outcasts that I'm looking for, that I want to be like. Those are the ones who went against the grain and found a way to make money work for them!
I read a book the other day called "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kyosaki and I regained a new found sense of hope. He talks about what a difference the way you think can make in your life and with your financial situation. For example, when you think rich, you think about all the ways you can get something you may not be able to afford at that time, instead of simply writing it off and thinking "I could never afford that." So that is what I started doing. I started thinking like a rich person and taking my life into my own hands...not the governments or my bosses or anybody else's. I started researching the information highway (the web) and all the different possibilities and opportunities for people that were thinking like me...like a rich person.
All I found was JUNK. "Start your own Business," "Become your own Boss," blah blah blah. No original ideas, no grantees, no structure. I was starting to realize why so little of the population actually become rich, because if it was that easy everyone would be rich! It wasn't until I was chatting with a new friend I had recently met and she introduced me to a whole new way of thinking, a whole new way of living. At age 25 she had bought her own house, two cars, traveled the world, and was living a life that I was yearning to be a part of, all without ever stepping foot into a "higher learning educational facility" (college).
How did she do it? What did she do different? I was desperate to find out so the next day she invited me over to her mom's house for brunch. When we pulled up, I was face-to-face with a mansion, and immediately I thought "Oh, she's got mommy and daddy's money." Little did I know, I was about to have my foot inserted directly into my mouth. That's when her mom introduced me to the world of Arbonne.
Arbonne International is a company that encourages people who use and love their products to basically start building a business around what they love. Its such a simple concept but so many people don't understand its power. I buy products for my face, my skin, my hair all the time, why not get paid for it? Arbonne's products are organically based and PH balanced composed from original Swiss formulas that literally make you change your views on what you are putting on your skin and in your body.
It took a couple days for me to understand the products and test them out myself. I'm one to only represent something I truly believe in and I wasn't about to sell something I didn't believe in. After a few weeks I started realizing how many compliments I was getting on my skin and how easy it was to talk about Arbonne and all its products. It's been a couple months with Arbonne I’ve began to build a financial future that lays outside the boundaries of Corporate America.
I'm not saying Arbonne is the only way, there are thousands of opportunities. However, this is an example of one that has worked for me. If you want more information about this particular opportunity, you can visit http://www.makeitreality.myarbonne.com.
It’s as simple as this, its time to stop working for money and have it start working for you!
